There’s no shortage of beautiful places to stay in San Miguel de Allende—whether you’re looking for a boutique hotel, a luxury resort, or a family-friendly Airbnb, we’ve got you covered. Since many of you will be bringing kids or traveling with groups, we’ve included options for every kind of stay. We recommend booking early so you can be close to the action!

Air BnB's:

For groups or families looking for more space, Airbnbs and villa rentals are a fantastic option and offer a more homey setup. For your first time in SMA or short visits, we recommend staying in Centro, which is the area around the Parroquia. Here are just a few Air BnB's that we've either stayed at or recommend based on location.

Villa Mantequilla: Located in our favorite "fraccionamiento" or gated neighborhood, Capilla De Piedra. There are many airbnb's in this community and I would recommend any of them. It has 2 pools and a gym as well as 24 hour gated security. You are a 10-15 minutes walk into Centro with some of the best views in the city. Most of the homes, including this one, boast huge roof top terraces! Views come with a steep hill home though, we usually take an uber, or, just take our time ;)

Casa Quebrada: A big 4 bedroom home with 4 ensuite bathrooms. Totally modern and updated. It is right in Centro and has a quaint rooftop deck with views of the Parroquia. It can be loud, especially at night when there are fireworks going off. It is a really great option for first timers in SMA. Getting to it is confusing at first so please reach out for tips :)

Casita Abajo is such a sweet little guesthouse right in the heart of San Miguel. It’s cozy, well-located, and perfect if you want to be close to everything without spending a ton. Great for a couple or small family who plans to be out and about exploring.
